2026 MC2 Award Call for Papers/Abstracts

The Korean Association of Medical Physicist in North America (KAMPiNA) invites you to submit your recent publications or abstracts for the consideration of the 2026 KAMPiNA MC2 award, which will be awarded at the 2026 KAMPiNA/KSMP/JSMP Joint Symposium Program (July 19th 2026)

Eligibility

• All active KAMPiNA (paid or payment-waived) or KSMP members

• Young investigators/students are strongly encouraged to apply the award

Submission Criteria

• Papers: Peer-reviewed published (or accepted) papers since 2024 as first or corresponding author

• Abstracts: Abstracts presented at national or international meetings since 2024 as first or corresponding author (Includes accepted abstracts for 2026 AAPM)

Submission deadline

• May 3, 2026 11:59pm ET

How to submit

• Email your publication (in PDF form) with the applicant’s English/Korean name to: Secretary of Academic Affairs, Jihyun Yun (윤지현) (jyun@ualberta.ca)

Award

• 2 Best papers – will receive $300 cash award and plaque

• 2 Best abstracts – will receive $150 cash award and plaque

• The winners of best abstract will have an opportunity to orally present their research at KAMPiNA/KSMP/JSMP Joint Symposium, AAPM annual meeting.

• Award ceremony will be held on Korean night during AAPM annual meeting.

Evaluation Criteria

• Quality of science, Impact/innovation of research, Thoroughness are peer reviewed.

• Impact factor of paper, first author, MC2 award in previous 2 yrs, publication date are also considered.
